About me!
I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who loves to work with children, teens, and families. I specialize in working with neurodivergent folks in neurodivergent-affirming ways. I have training and experience with OCD in children and teens as well, and I love to support families who have “complex kids” with many needs. I am mindful of how intersectional identities impact clients and seek to support clients in learning various ways to get their needs met within and without the family system. I am knowledgeable about gender identity in children as well, and can support both children and their parents with gender-transition related concerns.
What Therapy is Like!
Therapy with me may look different than you’d expect! I believe therapy is more effective when it involves experiences in the therapy room. Many of my clients work on art therapy projects in sessions; I also use games and imaginative play in various ways. For my younger clients, parents are most often part of sessions. Teens can opt to include parents as well, and many do. I am happy to have parent only sessions for parents of younger clients as well.

Professional Activities
Professionally, I am a board member for the Washington Association of Marriage and Family Therapy, where I chair the Ethics, Training and Standards committee. I present often at conferences and events; I am working on creating a certificate course for the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy on neurodiversity affirming systemic therapy. I also teach part time at various local universities.
β
Personally, I am a playful and fun person, and am known to wear funky socks, and will happily tell you about my pet goats (named Han and Luke). I’m a parent to a child as well, and in my free time enjoy making art, playing board games and going to local theater.
